Quartz with Titane

This Quartz with Titane is actually Quartz with inclusions of Titanium, Specular Hematite, and Lepidicrocite. This unique gem was mined on Madagascar and is relatively rare. The Lepidocrocite appears as red flakes inside the quartz and is an iron hydroxide. Specular hematite is an iron oxide mineral and appears sparkly and black. Titanium is a chemical element and a metal; it appears shiny, white and silvery.
